Q: Isn't Johnny just a misogynist?
A:
No. Johnny is a woman lover. While he will boldly shoot his shot with any lovely lady who comes his way, he doesn't pursue anyone to the point of harassment. He's said that he can see a woman's true beauty regardless of her appearance or other physical traits, and that he seeks to eliminate misogynistic vocabulary. He also has an active life, and many positive relationships that aren't based around sex or romance; He's a busy pirate and single father to twelve wonderful young ladies. Wooing lucky women is but one hobby in Johnny's life.
Q: What's Johnny's last name?
A:
Unknown. There's a popular misconception that it's Sfondi, due to a mistake in an old translation of a drama CD in which "Johnny's family" (spoken in English by Ky) was misheard as "Johnny Sfondi". Johnny has no canon last name.
Q: Are Johnny and May a couple?

No. May has a crush on Johnny, but it's one-sided. He views her as a daughter.
Q: Is Johnny straight?

Despite having a particularly strong love for women, Johnny seems to be bisexual as of Strive. He flirts with Faust, and also has several flirtatious battle lines that can be heard against opponents of any gender.
Q: How old is Johnny?
A:
Short answer: At least 31 years old as of Strive.
Long answer: Unknown. It's stated that Johnny was 13 when his father died, but no information is given as to when this was, or how old Johnny is now. The only thing I've been able to find out for certain about Johnny's age is that he's older than Ky, with perhaps the most notable instance of this being his Strive win quote against Ky, in which he remarks, "That handsome boy's a handsome man now." However, it's unclear how much older than Ky Johnny actually is. Since Ky is 30 in Strive, this would put Johnny at a bare minimum of 31 years old; By extension, this would make him at least 24 in the original Guilty Gear, and at least 18 when he adopted May. Again, however, this is just the absolute extreme minimum, and there's no real information with which to further narrow down the possible range. He could be 31, he could be 40, he could be 55... There's no real way to tell.
